Data Controller and Data Protection Officer

The Data Controller is “Alfasigma S.p.A. (hereinafter Alfasigma)” with registered office in Via Ragazzi del ’99, 5 – 40133 Bologna.

The Company has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted in matters concerning the processing of your data at the following address: privacydpo@alfasigma.com

 

  1. Purpose of Processing & Type of Data Processed
  2. a) Navigation Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment.

This data, necessary for the use of the website, is used for the sole purpose of:

 

         obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site

         check the correct functioning of the site

 

The navigation data is deleted immediately after processing.

The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.

  1. b) Cookies

This website uses only technical cookies.

Cookies are cookies that are used to navigate or provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the Owner of the website.

Without the use of such cookies, some operations could not be carried out or would be more complex and/or less secure, such as for example the activities for which cookies, which allow the user’s identification within the session, are indispensable.

This type of cookie is strictly necessary for the correct functioning of certain sections of the Site. There are two categories:

  • persistent: once the browser is closed they are not destroyed but remain until a preset expiration date
  • session: are destroyed every time the browser is closed.

These cookies, always sent from our site, are necessary to correctly display the site and in relation to the technical services offered, will therefore always be used and sent, unless users change the settings in their browser (thus affecting the display of the site pages)

  1. c) Survey

Participation in the Survey is not mandatory, through this tool Alfasigma will only process information in aggregate, in no way will it be possible to access your personal data.

  1. Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.

  1. Treatment modalities

Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

  1. Scope of knowledge and communication of data

The personal data collected, for the processing purposes indicated above, may be communicated to:

  • companies, whether parent companies, subsidiaries or affiliates under the Data Sharing Agreement.
  • third parties, appointed as Processors pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation.

In addition, the personal data collected may be processed by Alfasigma personnel authorised to process them pursuant to Article 29 of the Regulation.

Please note that personal data will be disclosed to public or private entities only if required by law or regulation or if necessary for the performance of institutional functions..

  1. Data Transfer

The management and storage of personal data will take place on servers, located within the European Union, of the Data Controller and/or third party companies appointed and duly appointed as Data Processors. Currently the servers are located in Italy. The data are currently not subject to transfer outside the European Union.

It remains in any case understood that the Owner, if necessary, will have the right to move the location of the servers, in Italy, within the European Union and/or in non-EU countries.

In this case, the Data Controller already ensures that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with articles 44 ff. of the Regulation and the applicable legal provisions by entering, if necessary, into agreements that guarantee an adequate level of protection

  1. Data retention period

The data will be stored on computer media only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, respecting the principles of limitation of storage and minimization set out in Article 5.1(c) and (e) of the Regulation.

Rights of the data subject

We inform you that with reference to the processed data you may at any time exercise your rights under Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21 and 22 of the Regulation; in particular, you have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of the data and in that case access to it and to verify its accuracy.

You also have the right to request the rectification of data, the deletion, limitation of processing, and portability of your data, as well as to object to the processing in whole or in part for legitimate reasons, to revoke your consent, if any, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or take legal action.

Your rights may be exercised by means of a written request, using the form that you can download from the https://it.alfasigma.com/privacy-policy/ website, to be sent to the e-mail address: privacy@alfasigma.com. or, by means of the form accessible at the foot of the page of the https://it.alfasigma.com website, under the heading “Rights of the data subjects”.

The Data Controller shall provide you with the information regarding the action taken in respect of the request pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 without undue delay and, in any case, at the latest within one month from the receipt of the request. This period may be extended by two months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests. The Data Controller shall inform you of this extension, and of the reasons for the delay, within one month of receipt of the request.
